八打灵再也5日讯）凡是有投保社险（SOCSO）的外劳，都可以免费进行鼻喉拭子测试（Swab Test）冠病病毒检验！SOCSO首席执行员拿督斯里莫哈末阿兹曼向星洲日报证实，SOCSO机构在第3阶段行动管制令实行的冠病病毒关怀检验计划（PSP）依然生效，因此雇主可以安排外劳到SOCSO委任的诊所或实验室进行检验，这个检验是免费的。“是的，在1969年雇员社会安全法令下，注册员工可免费享有大马社险机构的PSP计划。”他强调，只有向SOCSO注册的雇主和员工才可以享有这个福利，非SOCSO会员，如非法外劳就无法免费检验。接着，雇主再安排外劳到SOCSO委任的诊所或实验室接受冠病检验，再从PSP平台查询检验结果。
昨日，国防部高级部长拿督斯里依斯迈沙比利宣布，政府将强制所有领域的所有外劳进行鼻喉拭子测试，且费用须由雇主承担。政府曾在第3阶段行动管制令开放部分领域复工时要求业者确保所有员工没有感染冠病病毒，强制所有复工的员工须进行冠病检验。当时，国际贸易及工业部高级部长拿督斯里阿兹敏阿里宣布，SOCSO机构将会承担所有检验费用。
